I bought a new microwave in 2007 to replace the 1989 model I had since college. It could boil water in under 10 minutes. It had sensor cooking and preset modes. It was life changing.

Paul Auster’s New York Trilogy. If you haven’t read them, you’re missing something important.
I have a standing every 2 years on each of my 2 10k gallon tanks. Each year, one gets pumped. That means they both get checked regularly.
Even if it costs $200 for the appointment, it’s worth it to know. They can also likely tell you the size and what they suggest for your situation. They should be able to schedule it for you so you don’t need to remember.
FWIW, ask around to find a reliable, honest septic service provider. Ask your neighbors. Ask your plumber. Ask at the hardware store (if you have an independent or franchise, not a big box. Ask at the plumbing supply store.
Can you still do some prn work if you take the desk job? In my opinion, you should work while you can now to earn what you can now, and take the experience while there are opportunities. Later, you can get the desk job, but for more money, since you’re more experienced. Also, there are opportunities in research/real world evidence/device manufacturers/ software companies outside the healthcare systems for experienced clinicians like yourself (even fully remote ones).
Maybe this current role isn’t perfect for you, but it started you wondering, and that’s good.

I’m adding it to my list. Thx. Great picture.
Iceland? It looks like some we saw there.
Go try on more boots… there are hundreds of styles. Go to a place that has lots and knowledgeable people to help you. And don’t tie them so tightly.
Read Askamanager.com for advice on your resume and strategies to explain the short tenure. This wasn’t you. This was on them.
I do. It means peace and quiet. It means a reasonable price for housing. It means learning some skills to maintain your place yourself. It means being more self-sufficient. It means you have to plan ahead because shopping is a 1x a week event, not a daily thing.
It also means people visit less and either are amazed at how much you have “out here,” or are astounded you can live “out here.”
We (58m 67f) cook at home 95% of the time. We are an ingredient-only house. This means there are no packaged things, and we (I ) cook everything from nothing. We eat out 1-3x per month but are too often disappointed in the quality and shocked buy the cost. We eat in places that make their food, not those that reheat it. I’m a good cook. I try new things regularly and expirement freely. I have go-to meals. Every meal is at least a salad, a veggie or 2, and a meat. No bread and few grains except rice when appropriate for the meal. My largest investments are good pots (Calphalon and Le Creuset), good cooking surfaces (Tru infrared grill and dual fuel range) , and spices (literally hundreds from everywhere in the world). We never order for delivery.
One additional suggestion- buy meat in quantity. Get a vaccum sealer. Portion for your meals.
