Timmy, if even charging a lower fee, devs prefer steam over your shithole, I’m gonna go ahead and say that maybe there is a reason: your store sucks. Big time.
I am not a velociraptor

I wanted to be a paleontologist. Parents worked really hard to avoid that from happenning.
Now I work in OT (operation technologies) on a big company. I mostly tinker with automated proccesses and machines. It’s not at all what I wanted to be but it’s a really good alternative; machines are way easier than people to talk to.

My experience with Animal Crossing started on the DS with Wild World, as I’m sure it did with many others. The game drew me in with its colorful villagers, daily routine, and slice-of-life feel. Years later I got back into the series with New Leaf on the 3DS, putting hundreds of hours into it. The progression system felt just right, and the level of customization for my villager was a real treat. However, when I finally got a hold of New Horizons on my switch, I couldn’t help but feel let down. Rather than a town that felt like it moved on when I didn’t play, I felt like I was in total control. Villagers would have to beg me to let them move out, rather than just leaving on their own. Everything felt a bit too… Doll-house in its design?
Are you me? No, wait, I started with the gamecube game back in the day, but for the rest… are you me?
I got new horizons expecting it to be just a better new leaf and it was a huge let down. I spent hundreds of hours in new leaf, I barely made 40 on new horizons and only because I had friends to “play” with (if you can call it play, the game was so empty of everything!). Even the upgrades to shops and the house were a letdown.
I will definitely try the mod, because I miss the old animal crossing a lot!

Does “fuck you” count if you say it before breakfast? I think it does.

If things keep going like this, she’ll only have customers among the 0.1%

If I as a customer pay, idk, 10€ per gb of RAM and an AI data center pays 20, do you really think they are going to consider how they are feeding a bubble that in the not-so-long term will burst and fuck them up too?
Nah, mate, they are capitalists, they only care about the money they can make in the extremely short term.

What the fuck are you trying to sell… sorry, my bad.

I work for a somewhat big company with one of the dumbest IT depts ever. On top of not wanting to risk being spied on what I do or not do with my private phone and life, there’s also the fact that their rules for a “safe browsing” are really, REALLY stupid (like blocking access to Siemens website because they use “weird” protocols to transfer files for their devices firmware or their webinars: p2p).
I find more often than not having to do a hotspot with my phone so I can connect with my computer to simply access work related websites because IT is just too dumb to understand that in a company there should be different network profiles depending on the worker and, instead, they apply a general rule in which they consider the same “threats” for a marketing employee than for an OT (operational technologies) employee.

My operator gives me 150gb for 7.99€. It actually started with 30gb for the same price but they’ve been upgrading my gb almost yearly without price increase.
As I stream music from my jellyfin server for around 6-8 hours a day (most of my office time) and watch some shows on my lunch time, my monthly consumption is around 60-70gb a month.
But simply because I know I have more than enough to not worry about the streaming quality of my files, otherwise I’d be at maybe 10 or so.

Not sure about the watermelon, but feta is a Greek cheese, and they use mint too so you might be right.

As I said in my first comment, I am not happy with it, but the other option is worse.
I am aware this is the lesser evil, hence “Go China”.

The fact that they already have a de-facto monopoly on consumer goods doesn’t mean I want them to have another one for other products.

Air-fried spinach leaves.
Add some species you like to the leaves, spray them with some olive oil and airfry for 10-15 mins at 200°C.
Makes for a great alternative to normal chips but takes some practice to find the perfect timing to make them crispy but not burned.

I’m not happy with China getting this tech and potentially becoming a monopoly in consumer DRAM. But the other option right now is becoming a cloud slave for burgerlander billionaires that are actively fucking everyone in the world so what can I say?
This guy’s a hero! Go China!

China has a couple of years to figure out how to make RAM at decent prices.
They will manage somehow and will become leaders of the consumer market.
The bubble will burst and will fuck everyone involved.
China will by then have their RAM on every consumer device and these shitheads will all go: “omigosh! How this could happen? Nobody could have predicted this!”

I wouldn’t. I need my partner to have a minimun conversational skill. In a couple, there’s more beyond sex, there is talk, there is communication. I’d rather a worse looking person that’s smart than a 10 with whom I can’t even talk about anything interesting.

Why are you so weirdly specific and focused about this topic in particular? Yesterday you posted about this same topic and deleted all your comments and the post itself.
It’s… peculiar, to say the least.

Welcome to fascism: laws for thee, not for me.
That’s pretty much it.
What we actually need is for european companxes to drop the safety checks dependant on google play services and start using the phone checks only so alternative roms can function properly without depending on google.
It can be done and would allow people to more freely develop and adopt alternatives like grapheneos without hassle.
