Most free tax services have a income ceiling and the free service is being subsidized by the government. So we are paying our tax money for it, it’s never free. I made decent money so I won’t get the subsidized free service most likely. It’s not that I can’t afford it, it’s just that it’s complete bullshit that they spent the tax money creating a great free tax service and their shelving it to prop up fucking private corporations further.
