    You can experience basically any emotion in response to this.

    • Disgust for seeing this happen
    • Anger towards those responsible for it
    • Frustrated that these deaths still happen despite all the work put into preventing them
    • Overwhelmed by the state of the world and your powerlessness in fixing things.
    • Fear for your own life or that of loved ones who can realistically find themselves in a similar situation
    • Happy that you made it out alive when you went through a similar situation
    • Grateful that you don’t live in an environment where this is a common occurrence.
    • Motivated to get back to work towards your dream because of the reminder that life is short.

    And that’s just a few off the top of my head. It would also keep out autistic people who can’t read their own emotions.
