    Good news!

    Regarding soccer.forum, I tried to federate one of the posts (https://soccer.forum/post/soccer.forum/8983) to Reddthat, but it doesn’t show up: https://reddthat.com/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fsoccer.forum%2Fpost%2Fsoccer.forum%2F8983&type=All&listingType=All&page=1&sort=TopAll

    Do you have any what could be the issue?

      Probably because the url format from photon UI is different. You need to get the link from the “share” button.

          That will also get the post url from the home instance itself which is needed to federate posts.

            I have a question for you: how do you find comments that mention Photon? Do you have an alerting of some sort?

              I regularly search for the term “photon” because I’ve found lots of people mentioning bugs and the sort outside the photon community.

FAQ:

Q: Why do I get a 404?

A: At least one user in an instance needs to search for a community before it gets fetched. Searching for the community will bring it into the instance and it will fetch a few of the most recent posts without comments. If a user is subscribed to a community, then all of the future posts and interactions are now in-sync.

Q: When I try to create a post, the circle just spins forever. Why is that?

A: This is a current known issue with large communities. Sometimes it does get posted, but just continues spinning, but sometimes it doesn’t get posted and continues spinning. If it doesn’t actually get posted, the best thing to do is try later. However, only some people seem to be having this problem at the moment.
