I’m trying to get better at building stuff in TOTK - I have made boats using a plank + fans + steering stick, and those work great. However, I’m at a backpack korok and need to get across a large body of water. The materials provided are a bunch of planks and wheels. I could take out some Zonai devices but I’m running low on fans and I feel like there must be some way to make a propeller or paddle boat or something like that. Post your boat builds here to inspire and maybe get inspired by others!

I saw this one trick before I left reddit. They attached food to an arrow. Fired from one korok to the other. Attached the korok to the attached food. Reversed the food/koroks time to where the original arrow was fired. Try that if you’re low on devices

Rather than using your food for this trick, just use a wood pile. If you are running low, just cut down a tree and get more.

I did this to the “go up the cliff” korok and unfortunately, the wood pile rotated a lot which meant that upon attaching the korok to it, it would roll into the hill and get detached

Two fans on a plank with a steering stick are pretty much the most cost-efficient boat you can build. You can try to get creative using a big wheel to make a paddle similar to a steam boat, but in my experience those don’t work very well. Maybe a stabilizer could help.
