Just sharing my method on how I bought my Steam Deck OLED for 3/4 of the original price. I was skeptical when I read about it, but decided to try it and it took me a few good hours trying not to screw it up, but it worked out in the end. Maybe someone can benefit from it, but it has some risks.
I mean props to the OP but if you read the article they didn’t buy a Steam Deck for $440… It’s pretty much just getting lucky flipping CS:GO skins
Agreed. A similar ‘hack’ could be “I bought a Steam Deck for free, all I had to do was to work for 22 hours at a job that earned me $25/hour”
No, I didn’t try to get lucky, I checked the prices every minute on Steam market to not get screwed (there are some bots making fake orders) and just sold the items within 5 minutes of buying it cheaper. But you can definitely buy it cheaper if you know these markets, but I was being very risk-averse.
Doesnt matter how and what you did. At the very end you didnt buy a steam deck oled cheaper.
What do you mean? I did spend less money on it, so I’d say that means cheaper.
You spent less dollars but spent more time doing work and were paid in Steam credits. Dollars are not the only currency. That’s not the same as buying it for less money. The title is misleading.
Okay, you’re right, I should have said I spent less money on it, english isn’t my first language, but that shouldn’t be my excuse.
Mine was free I used the money from my job
I guess you really just dont want to accept the reality. Go check your self for Narcisstic Personality Disorder or Psychopathy
I have some of these.
