Jason’s voice in this is absolutely terrible, especially as he ends his sentences. Everything in the trailer sounded great except his voice. It was so off-putting and breaks emersion it’s the only thing I could focus on. And I found myself getting more annoyed with it as the trailer went along.

Maybe it’s filtered and we’re not hearing his real voice. Or maybe the voice actor was talking into a box fan during his takes and started to walk away from the mic before finishing his lines whatever it is its ruined the trailer for me

Ok I know everyone said the same thing about Arthur in red dead redemption 2 but this is far worse. Arthur ended up being a great character . I dont know what’s driving me crazy about it. Arthur lacked emotion.

It’s not that Jason just lacks emotion it sounds like the audio is literally fucked

Okay? Don’t buy it? Probably don’t buy it anyway because you won’t “own” it as it were, you’re just purchasing the “privilege” of playing it for an undisclosed amount of time.

Maybe a dumb question… but why did you preorder? It is not like they will run out of digital copies when it actually is launching.

As long as you’re okay with shelling out that kind of cash for something you don’t own, then great! Most of us that argue against DRM came from a time where you bought a game (movie, music includes), you owned it, you could let your friends borrow it, you could re-sell or gift it when you were finished with it.

        To each their pwn.

not going to buy it before -90%

Reading that made me remember my first GTA V play through was a pre-owned copy on the PS3. Probably $25 max

With the loss of physical games, there will be no easy way to by games for cheap through pre-owned and last gen consoles

People like to complain and granted I’m being picky about the voice. Enen though it is truly distracting. I don’t remember Grand theft Auto v having a bunch of bugs at launch maybe online did but not the single player campaign and if I remember right online is not launching with this right away anyhow.

I really could care less about the physical versus digital this game. I haven’t purchased a physical game since Halo MCC. And its going to be supported for 15 years. I’ll be mid 60s by then so won’t really care. .

I do wish they would release the next gen update for red dead redemption 2. That would get us through till November

I just thought the voice didn’t match the character.

I watched the extended look trailer thing, and I didn’t see anything impressive. It’s a GTA game, but it seems bland and uninspired. There’s nothing here that Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t do better six years ago. Hard to believe this is how they justify the $100 price tag.

I just bought the remastered version of Saints Row: The Third on Xbox (I previously owned the Xbox 360 version) for $4.49, less than 5% of the cost of GTA VI. I’ve played through it a couple times before, but it’s been a while, and I’m looking forward to getting back into it.

I never beat GTA V. I own it, I got pretty far in it, but never beat it. I think I just lost interest? It’s not a bad game by any means, it just wasn’t that fun.

Looking back, I really only enjoyed the first two GTA games (on PC, the top-down ones), and San Andreas.

There is a Vice City Next Gen mod. This is basically the whole vice city remade in GTA IV engine. It looks and feels amazing. And afaik, the same devs are working on GTA SA too.

I don’t know. The last two remakes I tried I did for nostalgia and was severely dissapointed. Elder scrolls oblivion, gears of war one. Both games played the hell out of during their time. But they both aged like ass. Graphics can only do so much. Without new features that have become gaming standards it’s just not as fun. Sure the originals didn’t have those features but it makes the experience better with them.

Even the Mortal Kombat collection. Am still a huge mk fan but one and two aged like ass and I decided to get my money back before the two hours
