I am not sure how I feel about it right now. It looks good, but something feels a bit off. Can’t put my fingers on it though. Maybe just not in the right headspace.

I was initially excited since the single player stuff is the stuff I enjoyed the most but like…graphically it looks just like all the previous Splatoon games. There’s nothing about it that highlights or justifies it being on the Switch 2 which I think feels the most odd. At least nothing they’ve shown so far?

I agree. It is possible there is lots of heavy stuff going on in later stages. Or maybe for something like keeping track of all the ink in large open areas.

It’s also possible they just made it exclusive to give people a push to get Switch 2.

It could be a game that was initially designed for Switch 1, like Mario Kart World or Donkey Kong Bananza. And then they made it Switch 2 exclusive but didn’t really upgrade the graphics.

This is honestly what I think happened. Starting to sound more and more what’s been happening to all of Nintendo’s first party IP’s. Meanwhile, 3rd party is killing it.
