    It isn’t that I didn’t enjoyed that part, its just I didn’t realise how much I had to do that and then hit a wall, and didn’t want to do too much of that at once. I think starting with the right mindset wouldn’t cause the problem, but I’ll only know after trying.

      Ah, I see. The solution for almost everything in Atelier is crafting, so you should be doing that constantly. I usually take a break every time I drop by the home base to see if I managed to unlock new recipes, and stop to create new gear whenever I get a new ingot or cloth.

      I’ve saved these two images from Ryza 3 as a “why you should craft stuff” example. It shows a late-game character with their initial gear and with some reasonably optimized gear I made. It’s a returning character from Ryza 1 so I shouldn’t be a significant spoiler for you.
