Imo, a lot of problems stem from puritanical beliefs in the US. The gender divide, alpha male, etc. Controlling sexuality keeps religion going strong

Puritans founded the country. Mormons, Evangelicals and many others came from the Puritans.
Imo, a lot of problems stem from puritanical beliefs in the US. The gender divide, alpha male, etc.
