Which game have you been the most patient for (as in, delaying purchase)?
For me, it would have to be GTA V. I stopped playing games for years, then built a new rig in 2018. Since then I’ve played through GTA IV (well, I beat the story, and it was amazing), but I never played GTA V.
My plan is to purchase it and start playing it the day GTA VI is released, as I have enough other games to get through in the meantime.
It’s not been easy. There’s also Mass Effect, which I got around to playing last year — but that’s largely because I forgot about it after being patient about it for only a couple of years.
How was it? Any desire to play the full series?
It was good, although its age really showed even compared to the sequel which I’d already played. Strong start to the series. They did some kind of remaster a few years ago which was what reminded me to try the original, so maybe that’s worth it if you don’t like old-game mechanics.
Interesting. Will definitely try ME at some point, didn’t realize there even was a remaster.
