All these people should be in jail. Tue fact that they’re only suffering social consequences for committing horrific crimes shows that the west has a two tier justice system.
I keep hearing, socialism for the rich, rugged capitalism for the poor.
but it’s worse than that, Anarchism for the rich, police state for the poor.
The rich, at worse, only suffer social consequences from their genuinely horrible crimes. the kind of crimes where mob justice would be accepted. meanwhile the poor can go to jail for charging their phone on a public outlet.
We live in a plutocracy.
Except of course in one country…
the American system should idealy have given Trump the Andrew treatment; impeeched then charged. but it failed because the US government is made to enrich and protect pedo elite criminals
