Honestly we need to stop demonizing drugs the way we do.
Yeah you shouldn’t dose and drive. Yeah if you become an addict you should have free help. There should be clean, pure manufactured substances. You should have to take a safety class and have a license. It should be taxed. You should be protected against your employer unless you are high on the clock, or do a job that holds many people’s fate in their hands (pilots, etc).
Right now it’s just something for the cops to plant to manufacture consent for otherwise illegal searches, or it’s a way to try and exterminate the bottom 10% through adulterated black market substances and untreated addiction.
We are absolutely cruel about drug use, even most “woke leftists”.
