No one sane from the EU wants to go to the USA anymore. And anyone sane from the other parts of the world are now choosing the EU over the USA. Triple whammy. And in addition to making the USA unappealing for scientists and losing all the talent. They are also getting rid of all the cheap labour. No talent for innovation. No cheap labour for producing competitive products. So they are leaving because the visas have expired, but they are going back to barrista jobs in EU.
