An experimental mRNA treatment has converted the liver into an immune cell “nursery” that pumped out greater numbers of healthy T cells in mice. Since the immune system has a powerful effect on other things like organ health and inflammation, it is hoped that such a treatment in humans might significantly expand our “healthspan”, keeping us healthier and more disease-free later in life.

No thanks. Not at least until we get a solid grip on dementia, Alzheimers, and Parkinsons. Clinically alive, but dead inside is not for me.

That’s what this would do. Reducing inflammation has been shown to reduce dementia. In fact studies have shown that people who have gotten routine vaccinations throughout their lives are at lower risk of getting Alzheimers.

I think it’s hard to overstate how important strong immune function and inflammation control is to just about everything else in the body. I sort of think that by 2050 we’ll have identified that inflammation is the moderator for just about every process in the body.

We already have ? Alzheimer’s is chronic lack of sleep + cholesterol, Parkinson’s is pesticides.
