        Well, I mean yeah, but that’s a given. It’s the 20s (again).

        But I did make a very deliberate choice to post this in this community before not the onion, because I knew most people would read that headline, let out a hopeless sigh of annoyance/frustration for America, and come to the same conclusion why any researcher might be busted by the FBI for “smuggling E. coli.”

    They really need to teach researchers a “basics to international shipping/smuggling” course. Its a fundamental skill to learn when working internationally with others.

      I think most universities make everyone take some kind of course on shipping regulations, and it was kind of dumb on his part if this guy tried to get around those or didn’t bother to look into it before he came into the U.S.

      But the question is how many other people get caught braking the same law, and just receive a slap on the wrist because they weren’t an immigrant.

      Not to mention this is the administration that thinks all safety regulations=unnecessary bureaucracy so…

      Is it PetSmart or Pet’s Mart?
