But now we have all kinds of heaters and blankets and clothes designed with incredibly complicated materials to insulate us. There’s like 62 million ways keep warm, like 3 ways to keep cold (air conditionerand, touch cold thing, or take off clothes) then factor in global warming and obesity rates rising. It’s almost enough to forget that for most of history winter is when people starved and froze to death meanwhile summer was a time of wonderful abundance.
