I love when she hides her little nose when she naps. This is my main babe, Penny. Her coat has all the colors of the kitty rainbow and for a small as she is, I’ve never met a bigger bed hog. She also snores. She means the world to me. She is truly my best friend.

Congratulations! I just adopted a kitty too on Sunday, so she’s still acclimating. But she did get used to me at the rescue so she already headbutts me and lays on me…

I’m sure you already know, but let her go at her pace. There’s no rush, as long as she’s eating, drinking and toileting. Maybe she never comes around, and that’s okay too. But I’m sure with patience and time, she’ll come around. Also, thanks for adopting. I’m sure she appreciates, even if she never shows it (because… cat. ya know?) <3

thank you for adopting and not buying. Rescue cats/dogs are every bit as loving, and they need homes and don’t deserve to die alone in a cage :(. Anyway, I hope you and your new kitty enjoy your time together so very much <3

It took Penny weeks to get comfortable with me after I broke her out of jail. I’ve been her person ever since. I was kinda worried she would never warm up to me there for a while. Now, I can’t sit down without her jumping on my lap or at least getting an earful about how almost empty her bowl has been for a full 36.25 seconds when I walk in the door. It’s awesome when a cat chooses you as their person. Especially, when they’re adopted as an adult carrying around all the trama and fear they may have learned during the time out in the wilds.

It’s a lovely feeling knowing they trust and feel safe enough around you for that
