ISP doesn’t care unless they get a DMCA from a copyright holder. They don’t prove or disprove anything, they just kick you off their network if they recieve to many DMCA notices linked to your IP. If your IP is used to download torrent files with no obfuscation, expect DMCAs in your future
As long as you keep using a VPN+SOCKS proxy you have nothing to worry about from your ISP.

Torrenter tracking is done by media companies using bots to track IP addresses in the peer list. As long as ur real IP doesn’t show up in the peer list u should be good. ISP can track what websites u are accessing but not what u are accessing. And will only remove u if they get DMCA requests from media companies. No assurances but u should be fine. I would personally recommend download magnets over tor and torrent through VPN to obscure Ip.
ISPs aren’t keeping logs on what you go to. They could if a court told them to, but the amount of storage required to keep a tab on ever customer and what they’re visiting is insane. Most companies don’t even attempt this with their own networks because of the storage requirements.

This was the main source of data they collected, which was 90+%…and mainly from google and apple…both of which are not ISPs.
I’ll reiterate this once again…ISPs are not logging every single bit of traffic you do, it’s to much data and really dumb idea. Their lawyers would have a fucking shit fit if they did.

The argument - that there’s too much data - is a good one, but if that was the case, why would vpn go to the effort of emphasising “no logs policy”. I think ISPs could retain data as it’s likely only very small records (IP, customer ID, timestamp).
Because VPNs are advertised as anonymous privacy, for people geo blocked or needing to avoid dmcas with torrents. It’s literally not in the best interest of the ISP to keep the logs, because A) Storage requirements and B) dealing with legal issues. Don’t keep it and you don’t have to worry about either of those unless you get a court order and are required to collect the logs.
