Played some Judgment, have reached Chapter 8.

I am getting a bit tired of the chase and following parts, they were fun in the beginning, but pretty much every side story end up with chasing or following someone. The stories themselves are still interesting (most of the times, but when you have to run after the same “hat” 3rd time, that too starts to become a bit annoying) so continuing with those for now.

The Keihin Gang has also become a bit of an annoyance, I have already beaten most of their leaders, but after every little while the threat level increase to 100% with tons of enemies attacking wherever I go.

Even with these, the game is still fun, at worst I’ll just skip the side content and stick to the main story.

Started Fire Emblem: Three Houses on Switch 2.

I first started it a while back, but got anxiety with all the relationship stuff that I am messing it up and won’t be able to recruit anyone, so dropped the game. Started it again now, and am now following the guide for the monastery part. Though now I am realising there was no need for it. You can only have 10 units on one map, even with adjucants, you can’t have more than 15 units even on the biggest map, with around 12-13 on normal one, so there was no point to get worries about it.

I have reached Chapter 6, and loving the gameplay. I have sided with Black Eagles, will probably replay to play through all house stories.

What about all of you? What have you been playing and/or plan to play?

How are you liking the game? It has been on my wishlist for a long time, and I should be getting it sometime soon now.

I also have to play Cave Story, was hoping for a sale, but it hasn’t gotten one in years, so will have to get it at full price.

It is good, a nice mix of story and action I think plus the (unique?) concept of your owl carrying characters who have their own abilities is interesting. The puzzles are pretty simple it’s mostly about the combat though there’s also a little bit of stealth needed at times.

Difficulty does ramp up quite fast, or at least compared to something like Mario Wonder but Owlboy is a shorter game so I guess that’s to be expected. The pixel art is luscious and there are some memorable scenes. In reviews I think it ranges from 70-90% and I’d give it 80+ for sure.

If you have a linux machine Cave Story is also freely available via flatpak: https://flathub.org/en/apps/com.gitlab.coringao.cavestory-nx
