Where are they based? If im there ill drop them somethong, i just dont feel good endorsing the payment processors, and i prefer owning to renting games.

Yeah im sure they mean well but a legal order still causes a takedown. What if theres something slightly gay? Or female protagonist? Could just be taken down. Probably not getting much farther north than san francisco in the near future, tbh.
In GOG you can download an offline installer, even if the platform shutdowns you will have access to your game at anytime. Also, if you don’t like to pay for things just pirate them.
Use GoG. That or buy it on Steam, then pirate a copy as a backup. You can always pirate it later if it becomes unavailable through Steam or wherever though. It sounds more like you’re just making excuses to not pay.
Honestly though, I do think these devs deserve the support, but they’ve also gotten it. Pay good devs, but if you pirate other small indie games then pay them first.

I spend a lot of time in LA, and do this for movies. Kinda. Not as much as i should, and i try not to be creepy about it.
Part of it is just remembering to tip my server when dining out, to support actors.
