Not denying bad comes from politics, especially in regards to the US, clearly we are seeing a lot of awful things that can come from politics, and religion likes to play politics as well. I am and will continue to refuse that religion is capable of producing good will, change for the better, or anything outside of bringing forth hate and destruction
Depends on who the leaders are. Some Many weaponize religion for their own aims and their ends justify the means. Some are peaceful, tolerant and constructive, all based off the very same texts.
