Meta is shutting down Messenger Lite, its lightweight stripped-down version of Messenger, the company confirmed to TechCrunch.

    I convinced people who I mostly chat with to switch long time ago. I don’t really chat with the rest and they can contact me over SMS if they (or I) want anyway.
