People weren’t happy so the DNC booted Biden and put in Harris who is a strong candidate given the situation.

Still the fickle left wasn’t happy and over ten million voters who voted Biden before wouldn’t turn out for her.

I wouldn’t blame the democrats for going harder right now to both eat away at the republican’s support and target the people who actually turn out to vote.

Trump got less votes in 2024 than 2020.

Except those 14 million voters who stayed home did turn out to vote, in 2020. So what happened in 2024 that caused them to stay home?

The DNC ran a milquetoast, status quo centrist candidate on a centrist platform, basically mirroring Biden’s unpopular policies. People were very excited when Harris first stepped up because she was a glimmer of hope.

And then she spent her entire campaign aligning more with Biden and his centrist policies, trying to win over moderates.

I wouldn’t blame the democrats for going harder right now to both eat away at the republican’s support and target the people who actually turn out to vote.

The voters asked the DNC to move left repeatedly over the last four years, and the DNC refused, and voters stayed home in protest. You can’t win elections without votes, and you can’t get votes without appealing to voters.

Target the people who actually turn out to vote? 94% of Republicans voted Republican in this election, same as 2020.

Only 37% of eligible voters actually vote. So that’s 60%+ of eligible voters that can be won over to the Democrats, they just need to figure out what policies these people would actually support.

Still the fickle left wasn’t happy and over ten million voters who voted Biden before wouldn’t turn out for her.

Oh fuck off, “the fickle left,” you mean the part of the party that the Dems clearly need to win in elections that they absolutely refuse to pander to in anyway?

You’re fucking right they weren’t happy, they shouldn’t be. They weren’t asking for every item on their wishlist, the most vocal outcries from the “fickle left” were regarding her unpopular, conservative policies.

100,000 people protest voted over Palestine in Michigan, and Harris and the DNC wrote those 100,000 voters off, and then lost Michigan by less than 100,000 votes. They wanted her to not blindly support Israel, that’s fucking it, and apparently the DNC refusing to budge on the issue, yeah, that’s the “fickle left’s” fault. 🙄

Who would have thought that giving left Americans no viable candidate to vote for that actually represents their beliefs, would result in them just staying home? Ooh, they get to choose between Fascism and Republican-lite, wooooooooooow, I can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t want to come vote.

Bernie said it best, “The Democratic Party abandoned the working class in their campaign, and then were shocked when the working class abandoned the Democratic Party.”

The DNC 1000000000% did this to themselves, and average people are going to suffer because of their arrogance and hubris and entitlement.
