Following phones in August, Google is adding a Search tab to the Play Store on Android tablets and foldables in a design that misses…
I really can’t wait until Linux phones are stable. So tired of Google’s bullshit and no matter how hard I try I can’t get used to iPhones.
As far as I know, the only “stable” linux phones are the Pinephone and Librem 5. The former runs hot and is painfully slow and the librem is very expensive for what you get. Some android phones can be reflashed but there are always core hardware features missing like camera, usb and GPS. I wrote this comment on my Oneplus 6 running postmarketOS, so you can make it work if you accept the shortcomings.
You don’t have to use G-apps though.

Best you can get is de googled aosp which is good IMHO
