all in english and the century apparently got redefined to just be the first 25 years

after i complained about it not working well for me and asked if there is something i’m missing that’d magically fix it (like maybe some special drivers) i mentioned i have dual monitors and someone told me mint is not made for that :') so i moved on
so we sleep in cycles, usually a one full sleep cycle is about 90min. it starts with light sleep, and goes into deep sleep, then back to light sleep, repeat. deeper sleep begins around ~30min in.
if you wake up from light sleep you’ll feel more refreshed
if you wake up in the middle of deep sleep, you’ll need to do all that body booting up when already awake, and it certainly doesn’t feel refreshing
(that’s why a 15min nap can breathe new life into you, but a 40min nap will leave you more tired)
it’s best to aim your sleeping schedule to include sleep in the increments of around 90min, proper night of sleep should have you go through 4-6 cycles (6h, 7,5h, or 9h).
the 90min is just an average though, listen to your body and see how things work for you. for me personally, around 7h or 7,5h works perfectly

ahhh, vector graphics, i dabble sometimes but not enough to recommend any alternatives. well, i hope you keep an eye out for new software/updates, being free of adobe feels amazing

is the software enforced by your work or is it what you feel the most comfortable using? because honestly i’m not missing photoshop as much as i thought i would, krita has most of my uses covered, and for photography i use darktable

don’t give up :)
at first i tried to get Bazzite (didn’t even install), then Mint (apparently it doesn’t work well on dual monitors), and what finally worked was CachyOS, and i’ve been cruising on it for a few months now
i’m asexual-ish but not sex repulsed. i don’t care for the body, i care deeply about the mind

hmmm, but you don’t pronounce most emojis, maybe 🤷♂️ but that’d be about it. come to think of it, is pronounceability required to fit the definition?

i look at my wall clock quite a lot, mainly because it’s easier for me to visualise the “distance” of time with it. and hour on my phone is not much different from 5min
congratulations to Black Mirror’s Be Right Back for graduating from sci-fi to documentary!

i bought the cheapest brother bw laser printer about a year ago - proceeded to print a solid 20 different TTRPGs in a week, replaced the toner, and now i’ve been on the second toner for a little under a year. amazing experience, you only run out if you want to print a library, for documents that thing’s going to last forever
i much prefer doing positive attention baiting. on tiktok especially i like going to small artists’ channels and saying nice things about their art (that i do mean), they reply quite often :)
sometimes i even get an amazing treat in return! - more art! not always, but sometimes, i notice artists posting more after i visit their channel a few times. It really makes me feel this comfortable warmth in my chest
they flipped a yacht

'tis very simple. my nose doesn’t smell at all, it’s everyone else’s noses that have smells! just like with accents

darkroom is the open source alternative to lightroom, both are vastly different from photoshop

well i used photoshop for a solid 8 years so i’d consider myself at the very least an advanced amateur
i don’t need it for work right now, but i used to

i got both but decided to first learn krita as i like drawing more than image manipulation. though i’ll be needing to hop into gimp soon i feel, as krita’s text editing options are clunky at best

as in i didn’t used to work with krita all day or i wouldn’t be working with krita all day now?
alright alright, the enemies we made along the way
