Sounds interesting, I wonder how they deal with false positives? My autocorrect detects way too many words that it thinks doesn’t exist.

Just a joke, it’s a fictional villain.

Umbridge?

There are ways to poison images so they can’t be used for AI.
They’re about as effective as ‘AI detectors’ and will last only as long as the current model generation hasn’t been counter trained on them.

Fully agreed. Luckily, all major instances have now dropped Tesseract, AFAIK, and the dev has moved on to his next alt account.

Do you think anybody, especially Linus, is unaware that LLMs produce bugs if left to themselves? He’s made it clear that PRs will continue to be judged on their code quality as they have all this while. Your comment is especially ironic considering how the post is about an elusive bug that took 1 line to fix, but hours upon hours and 24 other patches to debug. Anybody with any knowledge of Linus would find the idea hilarious that he’d allow, let alone commit, crappy code into the kernel. The only real issue up for debate is the ethics of it, considering the provenance of most training data, and potentially copyright issues.

Ah true, might be a client problem

Yes, because your original comment was so thought out and well reasoned to begin with 🙄

Your link is broken, and that’s the source anyway so I thought I’d just link directly

Let us know how your Linux 2.0 goes.

That’s saying something, since the book was pretty bad to begin with.

Well you mentioned they didn’t choose any languages in their settings, so I was wondering how you knew that.

Hyperbole is hyperbole. I refuse to fall for bullshit just because it’s aligned with my views and opinions.

Looking at the actual numbers (less than 1%) other commentors are posting as opposed to clickbait headlines, I’m not seeing the issue.

I have faith in the Japanese to keep their toilets clean. I do not have faith in my fellow citizens to do the same 😂
if you’re getting poop on your hands then you’re just having fun.
Yeah, but in a public toilet you have to expect the worst.

I’m more concerned about the tank getting more and more filthy over time as filth accumulates. I’m not sure whether there’s any actual practical impact from that.
Eh, his reputation is at least built on doing good deeds. Compare that to the current crop of politicians.
(I don’t watch him, or any videos for that matter, so my only knowledge is as a member of the general public).
