  • When reality challenges your ideology, engage with the challenge in earnest. It’s okay to be unwise and ignorant in your early 20s, but if with time you did not gain wisdom and experience, you’re gonna have a very bad time going forward. By the time you’re in your 30s, you should be able to encapsulate and verbally explain what you believe in, both about the universe as a whole and about yourself.

Stick to your word as well as you can.

Being good is more important than being comfortable.

Don’t let fear stop you from trying to reach your goals, many times whatever you’re afraid of is simply not real or not as bad. And yes, this includes talking to women.

Also, if you’re always chasing money, you’ll lose your humanity. Remember it should just be a tool, a means to an end and not the end by itself, else you’ll become an empty shell of a person, a resource hog or even a hedonistic monster.

Finally, always take the high road and let the guilt following actions taken in moments of poor character wash over you. If you don’t let it stay with it, if you run from accountability, you will just become a dangerous child.

PS: You’re too old (like, maybe a decade and a half too old) and probably have too much testosterone to believe in “manifestation”. Might as well wait for Christmas and write a letter to Santa. You just do your best and hope for the best (for the sake of your emotional stability AND to give yourself the best chances to accomplish what you set out to do).

  • People identify as they identify: People will believe whatever they want, about themselves and the world, yes.

A woman is what she tells you she is: Huh? Am I a good husband if I beat my wife if I tell you I am? An honest man if I lie about it? How does that even work? Reality and speech can go hand in hand, but they definitely don’t have to! And if you’re saying “a woman is a person who tells you she is a woman”, then no, again, if being the female or male part of the human species means anything to anyone, the same way that being the female cannabis plant or male dog mean things to people, then, once more: reality CAN go hand in hand with speech but it doesn’t have to, specially so if these labels don’t mean anything concrete to me because it’s in my emotional interest for them not to.

I didn’t understand much of the question but I just needed to clarify that. At the end of the day, whatever you like, if you’re not coercing or manipulating anyone and you care for the person beyond the pleasure their genitals give you, what can I or anyone truly criticise you for? Even if I don’t understand, I cannot hate you for it in earnest, you aren’t hurting anyone, and I cannot even care that much about it. Regardless of how the West feels about sex and lust, people are waaaaaaay more than just that (or at least they should be, what vacuous lives would they have otherwise…). 🤷‍♂️

  • Many things are dull/meh to garbage and loved by people because of marketing and poor taste (and you know it, you know it’s slop for human cattle while they don’t, and the fact that people willingly engage with it is depressing and makes you feel alone), many things are actually good/great and become somewhat popular also. You shouldn’t have a problem with the latter case by itself, although as we all know that might mean sequels, prequels, spinoffs and “creative resets” and eventually some australopithecus will come around and say something like “hey, did you watch Dune: Prophecy/The Rings of Power, it’s so fucking good, bro!”, lol, which is annoying/painful.

I try to just be happy for them the same way my wife is happy for me when she sees me enjoy a greasy, cheap, industrial meal. The difference is my taste buds and intelligence are disconnected so I can realise I’m enjoying the slop… it’s not the same with media for obvious reasons.

  • Not the feeeeeemales, lol. Anyway, do it casually and in earnest, like you’re just pointing something out (even if you don’t exactly know what has changed) instead of trying to ingratiate yourself with them (“did you do something to your hair? It looks great!”; “wow, your handwriting is lovely”; “damn, great X, it really compliments you”). Like, do it for good reasons and I’m sure you’ll be fine: spreading positivity and making those around you happier (without lying, ofc). For example, you could’ve just said something like “hey, you’re looking great, I really dig your top! Well, you always dress nicely either way, I’m gonna have to come to you for fashion tips! 😀, anyway…” and then continue the conversation.

As a straight man married into a semi-matriarchy, who was also the man of the house since the age of 15 and has mostly female friends, I can confidently tell you a compliment or two will go very far with women in all age groups, and you should try sliding one early into every convo, and also to distract them if the convo gets too deep and into territories that are gonna start an argument if you remain truthful. I literally did this yesterday with my wife’s crazier aunt before the conversation went south: “damn, that eyeliner really make your eyes pop, I got a little lost there! Hehe”. And I managed to then change the topic, lol. My wife was sitting next to me and just texted me “👌”. Just for reference, the aunty is close to or 60 so yeah, boys will be boys and girls will be girls.
