105 meters above the river. It is called the New Bridge. The Old Bridge and the Roman Bridge are lower.
I liked it until I learned some of the things that happened there, and now it’s all I think about whenever I see photos of it.
spoiler
During the Spanish Civil War, captured prisoners were allegedly tortured and then thrown off that balcony there.
Old bridge: built 1735
New bridge: built 1759-1793
Oooooo secret door. How do u platform it?
It’s just gonna have a stupid collectible piece that does nothing.
Bombskip unless you sequence break for the doublejump before the Inquisition. Otherwise you just have to get the key the normal route after the Reconquista.
All those spaces are technically accessible. Some doors are locked.
Assuming it’s sound enough to stand on, the view from that balcony must be amazing! I also wonder what’s behind the door, if anything.
I toured it a number of years ago. If I recall correctly, the inside of the bridge was used as a jail
How peaceful! I wish I was locked up in there and could never leave.
It’s solid enough for two sidewalks, and a two lane road. It’s a very impressive bridge.
Looks like the watercourse below has been dry a while. Was it diverted?
There was water flowing. You can’t see it from this angle.
I remember seeing this bridge on the Warrior Nun series.
I just know firelink shrine is around the corner and there is a few souls on a corpse on a ledge if you time your jumps right.
I think I played couple games with this bridge in it. Very impressive building.
hold on, is this thing in counterstrike?
Might be, but I wouldn’t played it there tho :D
The “Ronda Center Tourist Apartments” in the background adds a funny touch. Specifically tourists. I wonder if Nathan Drake checked in while he uses this bridge for climbing practice.
Baldur’s Gate 3 vibes
Amazing views and amazing little town. Had the best meal in Spain in a little restaurant on the walking path after the tourist busses all left.
I love this location. Never been there, but it’s so familiar an generic yet super unique, whenever I see a pic of it or something I recognise it.
