I’m registered with lemmy.zip, but I commented on a post in lemmy.world and it won’t seem to show up in the post, although it does show up in my comments list. Do some instances(?) block comments from other instances? Or is this a sub(?) thing?

I’m a pretty new reddifugee and still trying to get the hang of this. Feel free to correct my terminology, please.

    This is only required if the instance has never seen the community before. You can read how you can accomplish this in the Lemmy docs or the Fedecan guide:

    Is doing above only for lemmy instance admins? Or is this for regular users? Thank you for the extensive write up, btw.
