The weather was a bit cool, so they felt wonderful.

      There are a bunch of different pools with temperatures going from 35 to 45 degrees. You can’t stay in the 45 degree one for long.

      I think the pools next to the river (the greenish ones) is where the water is hot, not the river itself.

      I’ve been to different hot springs in and around Colorado. Some are swimming pools with warm water. Some are muddy (and smelly) holes in the ground. Some are absolutely lovely. But yeah, the temperature is naturally hot! I think they’re usually by a river, and people seem to have isolated/mixed the hot part with the cool river just enough to give a human-friendly temperature.
