Western governments salivating at the thought of having that kind of control over it’s citizens. I can just say that I’m happy that that kind of lock down isn’t something I have to deal with, at least for now.
Western governments don’t need that. They already have access to all you do on your device via backdoors and agreements with vendors and software providers. They could know absolutely everything about any “free citizen” they wanted.
You still have he choice to not use the software that has those back doors. There are plenty of open source alternatives that prevent spying.

The fact checking is in the phones he presents; what I’m interested in is how he got them; he explained that well in the beginning, but I’ll admit I took him at his word. Maybe you have more on that?OTOH, a web search shows a few articles that find the exact same things on separate devices.

tbf, i havent watched a video of him for years including this one. i just dont trust him at all.
maybe this video is pretty alright. idk. i’m not knowledgable enough on this particular topic either way. but he has touched on topics in the past where i’m knowledgable enough and it was really bad. just utter nonsense. not like with mkbhd where i just disagree with his opinions. its just sloppy garbage.

i just dislike rich assholes who make shitty videos. i agree some specifics would be nice. but damn, i dont remember the exact details of a few videos i watched 2 or 3 years ago. going back to fact check them isnt worth my time. sorry.
I thought the video was very well done. Implying that it was misleading when you haven’t even seen it was a pretty shitty thing to do. The least you could have done is tell us what horrible things he did in other videos. But I’m not going to change my mind about this video because some hotshot gave some vague criticisms
