You just changed my entire perspective about school and useless subjects. Though that also counts as common sense, don’t make absurd assumptions about things you don’t understand.

The loudest science deniers in the West are Christians who don’t operate on empirical evidence as a source of truth anyway.
I assume in other places it’s whatever religion is the most common locally. I’m sure there are Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Jewish, and Buddhist antivaxxers too.
When your faith has taught you from day 1 to ignore everything contradictory or you’ll go to hell for not believing, you tend to not appreciate just how rigorous science is and assume it’s just some other faith that’s at odds with yours.
I always said school teaches you critical thinking. In other words, to think for yourself.
