What is that? Looks like a manned submarine but no control surfaces I would expect to see.
I’ve driven by it a million times in Morro Bay, CA and finally decided to look it up. Looks like it was built to rescue crews of “sunken” or disabled submarines

Is that a DSRV (Deep submersible rescue vessel)?
Had I known about this group before… I saw a what looked like a 15ft tall yellow transformer made out of car parts in someone’s front yard in a small community in western North Carolina today. What a missed opportunity!
